Approach
My therapeutic approach is eclectic: I blend art therapy, present-moment and somatic awareness, relational approaches, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care. All therapy is adapted to your needs and co-created. I have experience working with grief, sexual abuse, and various types of trauma. I believe healing grows from deepening relationship to self, our loved ones, community, and the land.
Sitting in therapy together I will provide attuned multi-dimensional listening to help you find your way. You have everything you need to heal within you, and you also don't need to do the work alone. I will ask questions, and provide tools and techniques as indicated. I will ask you what is happening in the present moment with your thoughts, emotions and sensations. We will notice when past unresolved trauma is intruding into the present, and gently work towards integration, perspective-shifts, new understandings of yourself and challenging situations, and creative solutions to old problems.
